Westons Vintage Tramp Juice - 8.2%
I was in Minehead, Somerset the other weekend for a wedding - and whilst perambulating on the WSR I decided to try a Westons strong cider.

Been about 20 years since I've tried this shit - and fuck me I forgot about the effects of the silly strength that it is - it's a crazy buzz that's for sure - unlike lager completely. It had me walking like I was on the moon for a few minutes.

So i'm having another bottle today

Any of you cunts drink strong tramp juice who AREN'T homeless?

It's ironic that the homeless drink Tennents.

Old Rosie is a loverly cider - one pint is quite enough, mind.

They sell Old Rosie in Waitrose - it's a formidable looking bottle

I've seen a grown man shit himself after drinking Old Rosie,he was wearing shorts, it was a fucking mess.

I got caught out a while ago drinking what I thought was a fairly light Mango and Chilli Ale (don't judge me). Turned out to be 8.4% - great lunch, terrible office based afternoon.

I don't know GPH. A couple of bottles could have taken out any Elephant as far as I was concerned and I considered myself a serious drinker back in the day!

Elephant beer is the name of Carlsberg's extra strong Danish effort, isn't it?

I remember drinking a beer called Elephant Beer quite a few years back but could not tell you where. Australia perhaps?

Do people still drink lager?

Indonesia, Malaysia & Cambodia each have a dark stout & a lager on general sale at that strength.

I've tried them all: it's like drinking out of a spittoon in each case.
